One of the festivals, Apple day festival are also held during the labor day weekend. It is a four day event. In the 80's, this event used to be celebrated for nearly seven to ten days. Although the star of the event are the apples but there are loads of other activities that keeps the children and the adults entertained and busy.

This festival is usually conducted on the Historic main street. It can cover nine blocks of a street and almost 150 vendors participates in this event. Everyday, the show used to last for almost twelve hours. There is a list of events that take place such as daily breakfasts are served, special activities for children, special exhibits, sports tournaments, Grand King Apple Parade, youth activities, arts & craft fair, live musical performances, etc. This is the perfect place for the whole family and only the furry members are not allowed like dogs, cats etc.

If you are able to check out the events list, you will realize that there is much more beyond apples. On the labor day, the King Apple parade is held and various floats, youth groups, fire trucks and bands participate in this festival. This festival gets an approx attendance of almost 60,000 visitors during this four day event. These visitors consist of both the tourists and the locals. The parade usually ends the festivals and it is done on the streets.
